Halloween Activities :)

Wow!!! It has been a busy first nine weeks of school!! It doesn't seem like it has been that long since the first day of school, but it is so exciting to see how much our kindergarteners are learning :)

In our classroom, we are using lots of Halloween books, songs, poems, and activities to learn important literacy and math skills. I have created several fun Halloween activities that keep students practicing important skills, but allow them to celebrate Halloween!! Here are a few of my activities on TpT:

Halloween Color by Code- Uppercase Letters: This set includes five Halloween color by code student pages focusing on uppercase letters. To help students "read" the code, there are pages that you can print which show the correct color for each letter.

This file helps young readers and writers build familiarity with vocabulary words related to Halloween. On the first three pages, students cut the word pieces and match them to the pictures.
On the next six pages, students use a word bank to write sentences about Halloween. There are two versions of these worksheets; one uses "plain lines" and the other uses "handwriting lines" to give you options for your use in your classroom.

Halloween Monkey Shared Reading PowerPoint: My kiddos are LOVING reading this PowerPoint every day!! I hope yours will, too!!

These are just a few of my Halloween activities!! I hope you find something useful for your classroom!! If you would like to see all of my Halloween items on TpT, just click here!!!

Thanks for looking and spooky teaching!!!
